Well, this was the poor thing I wrote about in the earlier post.
I forgot, that is my daughter (who wants to be a herpetologist) who had noticed the snake being killed and asked me to stop the vehicle. I didn't have to ask her to hold it, but certainly said no to bringing it home for a decent burial. Yes, I had snapped the photo. The other two kids are my nephews.
thats a shame. there is plenty of roadkill in cape town and south africa in general. it always really bothers me. we are in their territory really in many cases.
