When a tree falls- paradox
When a tree falls in the
forest and no one is around,
does it make any sound?
Maybe they are so
close to each other,
it merely leans on its neighbor.

Wonderful! It says so much without saying much. :-))
Cheers
Dan
PS: And this is a much better template! :-))
loved the imagery of one tree leaning on another. Beautiful
Dan,
Thanx. As for the template, I copied it from yours!
Bilbs,
When I was recently trekking through some forests in Coorg, looking at the dense tree growth, the thought occured to me.
comforting to think that nature could lean its haed or arm against its neighboring tree
its certain it could not lean on ours
humnaity would have surely stepped aside to let it fall
camera shy,
only you could have come up with this gem :
"humanity would have surely
stepped aside to let it fall "
Thanx for the brilliant insight.
Maybe they are so
close to each other,
it merely leans on its neighbor.
An answer full of wit, of wisdom, and of warm respect for nature. ^_^ Indeed, these are memorable, quotable lines.
Thank you for sharing this piece. ^_^
nice twist to the theme

Refreshing perspective.
Thanx a lot,
Soulless, for dropping by and for the nice things that you had to say. I browsed through your blog, but I did not find your archives. Why?
Floots, to earn your appreciation, it is the ultimate. Even you havn't given any access to your archives. Why?
M, for dropping by. I will visit your site too.
:) nice.
Lovely poem but the rate we're chopping down the forests, how much longer will there be enough trees left for them to fall on their neighbours when they fall?
